Republish our stories

The magazine is funded by the European Commission and all our articles are free to republish under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. This means that you may copy and distribute the work but there are some conditions.

You must give appropriate credit. We ask you to do this by:

1) Using the original journalist's byline

2) Linking back to our original story, unless the republication is in print

3) Using the following text in the footer (online and in print): This article was originally published in Horizon, the EU Research and Innovation magazine.

You can easily insert a simple text link to us in your HTML template. For example:

<a href="https://horizon-magazine.eu/">This article was originally published in Horizon, the EU Research and Innovation Magazine</a>

You can translate our material to your own language. Translation services are not provided.
